Women's Medical-Surgical Unit
On the eighth floor of St. Anthony's Medical Center, 14-bed Medical-Surgical Unit is dedicated especially to women.
Unique Care for Women
Staffed only by female nurses who have completed specialized training in both the care and emotional needs of women, the 14-bed unit boasts all private rooms and a soothing atmosphere.
Special Care
The unit is used by female patients undergoing:
- hysterectomies
- mastectomies
- cancer treatments
- ovarian cancer
- miscarriages
- still births
- other surgeries and diagnoses
The unit offers female patients more privacy and individualized attention.
