The March of Dimes named Kathy Stephens Williams, MSN, RN, CCRN-K, RN-BC, its Education Nurse of the Year. Kathy is an Education Specialist in Professional Practice and Staff Development for St. Anthony’s.
 
Kathy is one of six Mercy nurses to win a Nurse of the Year award. A total of 67 Mercy nurses were named finalists in 21 categories. Those finalists include Lisa DeVore, RN, Surgical and Neuro ICU. Lisa is a member of St. Anthony’s Rapid Response and Stroke teams.
 
The March of Dimes Nurse of the Year program is a statewide event that recognizes exceptional nurses in Missouri and the Metro East area, creates awareness of professional excellence, and promotes the future of nursing while helping to advance the mission of the March of Dimes.
