For Business Health and Wellness Services

If your business is interested in learning more about the onsite health and wellness services available, call St. Anthony’s at 314-ANTHONY (268-4669).

St. Anthony’s commitment to regional employers includes offering onsite screenings and education on disease prevention and wellness. “We tailor specific health and wellness programs to meet an employer’s needs and bring those programs onsite,” says Denise Kimble, RN, BSN, Health & Wellness Manager. “A big advantage to offering an employee health and wellness program is that for every dollar a company spends on these types of programs, it can save $3 to $4 in overall costs. It also ensures a more productive workforce, reduces absenteeism, increases retention, and decreases worker compensation claims.”

Biometric screenings, which measure blood pressure, cholesterol, and blood sugar levels, are standard in onsite health and wellness programs as are flu shots and other immunizations. St. Anthony’s also evaluates height, weight and body mass index (BMI) and provides follow-up coaching on nutrition and healthier habits.

“It’s much healthier when an employee identifies risk factors early and takes steps to minimize those risks,” says Kimble. “While that may save employers money in the long run, the real benefits are to the long-term health of employees.”
