Vascular surgeons Brian Peterson, M.D., and Gary Peterson, M.D., have exclusively joined St. Anthony’s and will continue to serve patients in St. Anthony’s Heart & Vascular Institute.
Dr. Brian Peterson was the first surgeon in the world to implant a new iliac branch stent-graft during a procedure at St. Anthony’s. The device was the first in an investigational study on its use to treat aortic and iliac aneurysms. He graduated from St. Louis University School of Medicine and completed his residency and fellowship at Northwestern University Medical School.
Brian’s father, Dr. Gary Peterson, also is a graduate of the St. Louis University School of Medicine. He completed his fellowship at the University of California-Irvine. Dr. Gary Peterson has more than 36 years of experience as a vascular surgeon.
The Petersons specialize in treating peripheral vascular diseases, including carotid artery disease, aneurysms, lower extremity peripheral artery disease, and varicose veins.
The offices for Drs. Peterson and Peterson are located in Suite 305 of the Physicians Office Center, 10012 Kennerly Rd., on the St. Anthony’s campus with a second office located in Suite 310 of St. Anthony’s at the Kirkwood Campus, 1001 S.
