Specialists Closer to Home

Two-year-old Adam has been free of ear infections since he had ear tubes inserted at St. Anthony’s.

The Pediatric Surgery Center handles more than 800 outpatient pediatric surgeries each year.

Convenience is the big attraction to parents. “We really feel good about having specialists closer to home,” says Oakville resident Lara Green. “Our son, Adam, had chronic ear infections when he was a year old and our pediatrician recommended that we see Dr. Ron Mitchell to have ear tubes inserted.”

Surgery at St. Anthony’s lasted less than an hour. “We haven’t had to deal with an ear infection since the surgery,” Green says.

“Dr. Mitchell was terrific. He has a great rapport with families, and we were glad he was just a short drive from our house.”
