Sons and Daughters of Employees Scholarship Program

Eligibility Information

Applicants eligible to apply will meet these criteria:

  • Have at least one parent employed in a full-time or regular part-time position at St. Anthony's for at least a year
  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree in any field of study (not limited to health care)
  • Able to demonstrate financial need by providing the financial aid award letter for the coming year from the college they plan to attend, and a photocopy of the FAFSA Student Aid Report (SAR) that includes the Expected Family Contribution (EFC)
  • Enrolled in a regionally accredited Missouri college or university or Southern Illinois University
  • New applicants must have at least a 3.0 grade point average on a 4.0 scale (or the equivalent). Renewing applicants must demonstrate they are meeting or exceeding the necessary academic standards at their school and within their chosen field of study
  • Employees of St. Anthony’s are not eligible to apply

Applicants are responsible for:

  • completing the application
  • including a personal essay
  • arranging for required references
  • supplying a transcript of academic work and appropriate financial disclosures
  • submitting the application and related documents to the Greater Saint Louis Community Foundation

The deadline for the 2009/10 academic year is April 15, 2009. Application deadlines are announced annually.
