Sons and Daughters of Employees Scholarship Program

Applicants eligible to apply will meet these criteria:

Have at least one parent employed in a full-time or regular part-time position at St. Anthony's for at least a year
Pursuing an undergraduate degree in any field of study (not limited to health care)
Able to demonstrate financial need by providing the financial aid award letter for the coming year from the college they plan to attend, and a photocopy of the FAFSA Student Aid Report (SAR) that includes the Expected Family Contribution (EFC)
Enrolled in a regionally accredited Missouri college or university or Southern Illinois University
New applicants must have at least a 3.0 grade point average on a 4.0 scale (or the equivalent). Renewing applicants must demonstrate they are meeting or exceeding the necessary academic standards at their school and within their chosen field of study
Employees of St. Anthony’s are not eligible to apply

Applicants are responsible for:

completing the application
including a personal essay
arranging for required references
supplying a transcript of academic work and appropriate financial disclosures
submitting the application and related documents to the Greater Saint Louis Community Foundation

The deadline for the 2009/10 academic year is April 15, 2009. Application deadlines are announced annually.
