Similar to room service in the finest of hotels, St. Anthony’s Fine Dining provides patients with the opportunity to order food from a restaurant-style menu between the hours of 6:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m., according to their specific dietary prescription. The goal is to deliver hand-crafted meals within 45 minutes from the time they were ordered. Download menus more information about this program.
On occasion, tests and procedures ordered by the doctor may require that meals be delayed. A nurse will notify the nutrition services when meals may be resumed.
If the doctor prescribes a modified diet for a patient, a registered dietitian will assess the patient's nutritional needs and explain the modified diet.
If a visitor would like to eat with a patient, guest trays are available for a nominal fee. There also are several other dining options for visitors.
Free parking is available for patients and visitors in white-lined areas in all lots. Handicapped parking is provided at all main entrances.
Valet services are available Monday-Friday at both the north (main) entrance and the south (John K. Pruellage Heart & Vascular Center) entrances. Hours of valet at the north entrance are 6 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., hours at the south entrance are 5:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Emergency Department is 6 a.m. to 12 a.m. daily (including holidays).
Patients with handicap plates or tags may use the valet parking for free. Others may use the service for only $2 per car.
Contact valet parking at 314-709-6354.
Patients should not bring large sums of money, credit cards or valuables to the Medical Center. Or, valuables should be sent home with a family member. At the time of admission, a patient may leave items in St. Anthony's security safe. Please request a receipt, as it will be required to claim valuables.
Patients are responsible for their personal belongings, such as eyeglasses, dentures, hearing aids, cell phones, etc. Personal items should be kept in protective cases and not left on the top of the night stand, on the food tray or on the bed. St. Anthony’s is not responsible for damage to or loss of patients’ personal items.
