Auxiliary Donates EKG to Pediatric Emergency Department

Staff at Cardinal Glennon Pediatric Emergency Care at St. Anthony's accept new EKG from Auxiliary
St. Anthony’s Medical Center’s Auxiliary recently donated a portable EKG machine to the Cardinal Glennon Pediatric Emergency Care at St. Anthony’s. “Going into an Emergency Department is scary for kids, and we want them to be as comfortable as possible,” said Maytie Harrington, Auxiliary president. St. Anthony’s Auxiliary previously donated 14 DVD players, numerous hard-cover books and a wooden cart on wheels used to distribute books and puzzles to the pediatric patients. Pictured are, from left: Angie Poe, Emergency Department technician; Maytie Harrington, Auxiliary president; and Jim Cahalin, M.D., medical director of the pediatric emergency department.
