More than 250 people were on hand Saturday, Oct. 6 for the third annual Go Pink and Red for Women event, sponsored by St. Anthony’s Medical Center at the Holiday Inn South County Center.

The event, celebrating women’s breast and heart health, featured informative presentations on women’s health topics by women’s health experts, free heart health screenings, a fashion show, interactive exhibits, nutrition and fitness tips, fun prizes and more. Speakers included Carmen McCarthy, board-certified advanced practice registered nurse at The Heart Specialty Associates; and Judi Elston, manager of St. Anthony’s Breast Center, who also served as emcee.
