“Bev has done a stellar job revitalizing our Nursing Department,” said Michael Rindler, St. Anthony’s Office of the President and CEO. “Her promotion is affirmation of the importance of clinical leaders leading the new St. Anthony’s and recognition of the profound importance of nursing in our future development.”
“I am honored to have this opportunity to join the Office of the President,” said Bokovitz. “I have seen how well this leadership model works in improving the care we provide our patients and I look forward to adding my voice and my experiences to the office.”
Bokovitz joined St. Anthony’s from Akron General Health System in Akron, Ohio, where she served as Senior Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer from 2007 through the end of 2013. Under her leadership, Akron General’s nursing division earned Magnet Status in 2013 from the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Case Western Reserve University as an Adult and Geriatric Nurse Practitioner. She is working on her Doctorate in Nursing Leadership, which she expects to complete this year.
