Online check-in now available for Urgent Care Centers

St. Anthony’s is now offering online check-in for patients of its four Urgent Care Centers. Online check-in will allow patients to pick a time and urgent care location that is convenient for them in situations when treatment does not need to be immediate.

“We understand that no one likes waiting,” said Eric Appelgren, M.D., V.P. of Clinical Services. “Online check-in will give our patients the opportunity to select a time to see a health care provider at one of our Urgent Care Centers and know they will be able to see that provider right after they arrive at the urgent care.”

Patients can go to http://www.stanthonysmedcenter.com/urgentcare/locations.asp to choose their urgent care location and check-in time. Patients will be able to see what times are available at each location before making a selection.

Urgent Care Centers are a good choice for patients with:

  • sore throats
  • colds
  • ear infections
  • fevers
  • flu symptoms
  • sprains
  • strains
  • simple fractures
  • insect and animal bites
  • minor eye injuries
  • rashes
  • minor burns
  • minor lacerations
  • pneumonia
  • bronchitis
  • skin infections

Patients with more serious conditions requiring immediately medical care should go to an Emergency Department.

"We know there are times when patients need to come in right away and we will always be there to treat walk-in patients,” said Evelyn Young, M.D., Medical Director of Urgent Cares. “Online check-in may be a great option when your primary care physician is not able to schedule you or you want to take advantage of some of our services including vaccinations, blood tests and school, sports or work physicals.”

St. Anthony’s Urgent Care Centers are located in Arnold, Crestwood, Fenton and Lemay. All four locations are open 12 hours a day, from 8 a.m. – 8 p.m., seven days a week.
