Medications are prescribed to improve a patient’s health – whether it’s to fight a disease, lower cholesterol or provide pain relief. But, medications must be taken properly to ensure the best results. Keep a list of all medications that you take (including prescribed medications, nonprescription medicines, herbal products and home remedies). Also, be sure to keep a list of all medications you cannot take due to allergic reactions. Share these with your physician and pharmacist.
