Learn how to make bagel chips to accompany great dips
Looks good, tastes great! These spreads are absolutely delicious with bagels or bagel chips.
Bagel Chips
Ingredients:
4 (3 oz each) whole-wheat bagels, onion, or garlic (preferably unsliced)
Nonstick cooking spray
1 tsp oregano
Dash garlic powder
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Using a sharp serrated knife, slice each bagel vertically (from top to bottom) into 8 thin slices. Arrange in single layer on 2 ungreased nonstick baking sheets. Lightly spray bagel slices with nonstick cooking spray. Sprinkle oregano and garlic on bagel slices. Bake until crisp, about 12 minutes. Let cool and enjoy! Stores in an airtight container for up to 1 week.

Crab dip
Ingredients:
1 tub (8oz) light cream cheese, softened
½ cup seafood cocktail sauce
1 can (6oz) crab meat, well drained
Mash and spread across bottom of a decorative serving platter. Spread over cream cheese. Sprinkle crab lover sauce. Circle the platter with Bagel Chips.

Herbed Salmon Spread
Serve on bagel chips or inside a hollowed-out round loaf of pumpernickel bread
Ingredients:
2 cups plain nonfat yogurt, drain liquid
Gently mix the following ingredients into yogurt. Refrigerate 2 or more hours before serving:
(Note: If liquid appears after the dip has sat awhile, simple stir)
1 can (15 oz) red or pink salmon packed in water, drained and picked over for skin and bones
1 T Miracle whip, light
1 T fresh parsley, chopped
1 T green onion, tops and bottoms, chopped
¼ tsp dill weed
¼ tsp thyme
