The audiologist at St. Anthony's is licensed with the State of Missouri, and is highly qualified to diagnose and treat hearing-related disorders. Staff members of the Audiology Department are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.
Evaluation
Your comprehensive diagnostic hearing evaluation will be conducted using state-of-the-art equipment.
A full audiogram is performed and interpreted by our audiologist, who then discusses the results with you and provides recommendations.
Further audiology testing may be recommended, such as:
- Brainstem Auditory Evoked Response (BAER)
- Central Auditory Processing
- Electronystagmography
Treatment
Treatment varies depending on the diagnosis. If the audiologist feels you would benefit from a hearing aid, you will be presented with options.
You can select from a full spectrum of hearing aids in a variety of styles and technology levels, all at affordable, competitive prices. Rest assured, we'll take the time and care necessary to provide the proper hearing aid fittings to suit your individual needs.
