The
Perinatal Center at St. Anthony's offers a variety of services
to assist
expectant
women who
have
conditions
that
may be considered high-risk during their pregnancy, such
as:
- asthma
- diabetes
- kidney disease
- multiple births
Perinatal Team
St. Anthony's Perinatal Center offers a staff of:
- board-certified maternal-fetal medicine specialists
- perinatal nurses
- diabetic educators
- genetic counselors
Our maternal-fetal specialists also can consult with you before you get pregnant and may be able to help you achieve a successful pregnancy and birth even if you have a condition that you think could cause problems.
3-D Ultrasound
Our Perinatal Center was the first in St. Louis to offer
3-D ultrasound, an advanced technology that provides dimensional
images of a baby.
This advanced resolution image along with fetal testing helps maternal-fetal specialists identify any potential risks while the baby is developing, allowing for the best possible care.
