Five-year-old Joel works on his T-ball skills with his father, Joe Phillips, while the rest of the family cheers them on. The Phillips family says not only have they gone to St. Anthony’s Urgent Care Center in Arnold several times, but they also have found a great primary care physician through the center.
“With four children, one of whom has asthma, it seems that one of us is always sick on the weekends or at night,” laughs Sherri Phillips. “We worried that urgent care services weren’t covered by insurance, but they were covered, and we just have a co-pay anytime we go there.”
When staff found out that the Phillips didn’t have a primary care physician, they were quick to help find one. “They knew we really liked the convenience and location of the urgent care center and so they referred us to a doctor — Alan Sandidge, MD — who has an office in the same building. He’s easy to talk to and we’ve been very happy with our care at both places.”
