Sleep Disorder Center

About Sleep Studies

At St. Anthony’s Medical Center’s Sleep Disorder Center, our expert team, which includes specially trained physicians and technologists, diagnoses and treats a variety of sleep disorders.

Signs of a Sleep Disorder:

bullet Loud snoring

bullet Waking up non-refreshed and having trouble staying awake during the day

bullet Waking up with headaches

bullet Waking up during the night sometimes with the sensation of choking

bullet Waking up sweating

If a sleep problem is persistent, it should not be ignored. Call the Sleep Disorder Center at 314.525.7280 for information.

Our advanced center is fully equipped to accommodate patients in private rooms for monitored sleep studies. Based on the individual results of a sleep study, treatment may be prescribed for a specific disorder. For example, a patient with sleep apnea may be prescribed continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP), a device that gently blows air into the nasal passages to keep the airway open during sleep.
