“In my 47 years at St. Anthony’s I’ve never stopped learning. A lot has changed from my days at the old St. Anthony’s Hospital, but much has stayed the same when it comes to our dedication to patient care.
“Within five years after my start as an OR nurse in 1963, I began serving as a manager. Twenty-five years later I missed the rewards of direct patient care and went back to the OR with lots to learn about surgical technology advances. I missed the hands-on part of the great patient care for which St. Anthony’s is known.
“Keeping our patients safe is our primary goal, and I think we do an excellent job of that!”
