Tyler Adamski, RN

Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU)

"No one’s surprised—least of all, me—that I’m in critical care. I’ve felt called to help people since age eight when I rescued my sister who had fallen into a lake. I love ICU because you must be ready for anything… patients rely on you completely.

"It’s an honor to get to know my patients as people. Each patient makes an impact on you, changes you.

"I love learning, and giving back to those in need. With so many specialties, you can learn, do, be what you want. It’s a blessing to learn and grow through my work at St. Anthony’s. The councils I’m on give me a voice in policies and changes that make us better at what we do. “Helping patients and their families is very satisfying—it’s quite a remarkable thing."
