Can I apply for the program before I am a licensed nurse?
Applications and consideration for the program is based on your graduation date. Proof of Missouri (MO) Licensure is required before the first day of employment.
Can I apply if I have an Illinois (IL) license?
Nurses with an IL license must have applied and received their temporary MO licensure to be considered for the program.
If I have recently obtained licensure from a compact state can I apply for the program?
Yes. Licensure from a compact state allows you to work in the state of MO; therefore, you are eligible to apply for the program.
I am an LPN with years of experience in the health care setting,
completing a bridge program, am I eligible?
This residency is designed for those that are newly graduated licensed BSN prepared nurses with no prior health care experience.
I am a graduate of a Diploma and or ADN program am I eligible to apply?
This program is a post baccalaureate program. Only those newly licensed nurses with a BSN are eligible.
How often are the residencies offered?
The NRP is offered on a quarterly basis typically: Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall cohorts.
How do I apply?
