to the nurses from the Cardiac-Medical Intensive Care Unit (CMICU), who shared the latest evidence-based practice they learned at the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN) National Teaching Institute (NTI) in Denver, Colo., in May. Titled "A Slice of NTI at SAMC," the presentation in the hospital auditorium marked the first time staff nurses attending a national conference have returned and given formal PowerPoint presentations on their topics. About 20 of their co-workers in the ICU and Stepdown units, nurse managers and educators attended the event. (10/6/2014)
