Pat Wagner in tai chi class at St. Anthony's
— Pat Wagner Her hands moving gently like clouds in the sky, Pat Wagner concentrates on breathing and making slow, defined movements in a weekly tai chi class in the Body, Mind, Spirit Center at St. Anthony’s.

Wagner, who was diagnosed with lupus and fibromyalgia several years ago, says the class helps focus her mind on the positive while improving both her balance and flexibility.

“With my illnesses, I suffer from fatigue, muscle and joint pain and sometimes I feel depressed and want to stay in bed,” says Wagner. “But I collect myself, take deep breaths and visualize getting away and being calm, and I have the strength to get through the day.”
