The National Black Nurses Association (NBNA) is honoring a St. Anthony’s nurse with its 40 and Under Award.

Kristin Glover, MSN, RN, is a clinical informatics specialist who has been part of the St. Anthony’s team for the last seven years. She earned the award for her strong leadership, excellence and innovation in her practice setting, in her community and in her NBNA chapter.

Dr. Eric J. Williams, president of the NBNA, describes the award winners as “the emerging leaders who will carry the vision and the mission of our founders into the future. These young leaders are the ‘way forward’ for our communities and our organization. These young leaders are the future of nursing.”

Kristin joined St. Anthony’s in 2011 as a clinical nurse educator before joining the information services department as a principal trainer for electronic medical records. She also serves as an adjunct clinical nurse instructor for Maryville University.

Kristin will receive her award Aug. 3 during the NBNA’s annual conference that will be held here in St. Louis.
