The team of specialists caring for patients at St. Anthony’s Cancer Care Center
is expanding with the addition of two hematology/medical oncology specialists: Shaun Donegan, MD, and Michael Gu, MD.
Dr. Donegan is board certified in hematology/medical oncology and in internal medicine. He has special interest in treating lymphoma, myeloma, colon cancer, pancreatic cancer, esophageal cancer, lung cancer, prostate cancer, kidney cancer, breast cancer and melanoma. He completed his fellowship at the University of Utah, completed his residency at the University of Alabama-Birmingham, and earned his Doctor of Medicine from Tulane University School of Medicine. Dr. Donegan is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology
Dr. Gu is board certified in hematology/medical oncology. He has special interest in treating adult malignancy and hematologic disease. He completed his fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis, completed his residency at St. Luke’s Hospital in Chesterfield, and earned his Doctor of Medicine from Shanghai Second Medical University.
Dr. Donegan is a Mercy Clinic
physician who previously cared for patients at the David C. Pratt Cancer Center at Mercy Hospital St. Louis. Dr. Gu has been on staff at St. Anthony’s and is joining the Mercy Clinic South team. They are joining together to form the new St. Anthony’s Hematology and Oncology
practice. Their office is located in suite 100 of the Physicians Office Center
