The Auxiliary of St. Anthony’s has donated $250,000 to St. Anthony’s to benefit its patients and departments throughout the medical center. The money will be used to purchase new equipment to improve patient care.

Members of the Auxiliary’s board voted to approve the $250,000 donation to fund the purchase of more than 40 items from the medical center’s capital budget list. Members made their selections after researching the requests and interviewing St. Anthony’s leaders.

The funds were raised mainly from income from St. Anthony’s gift shop. The Auxiliary’s income also includes periodic sales of items including pretzels, books, mums and other fundraisers.
