Staff members, doctors and clinicians pledged $234,831
From patients in the Cancer Care Center to those served by the United Way, area citizens will receive an unprecedented level of generosity from St. Anthony’s employees this year. Staff members, doctors and clinicians pledged $234,831 in 2014 to several worthy causes, the largest amount in St. Anthony’s history, through their annual We Care, We Share fundraising campaign. “It’s a sign of how healthy we are as an organization, in how generous we are to people who need our help,” said St. Anthony’s CEO Michael Rindler.
Proceeds benefit the five funds of St. Anthony’s Charitable Foundation: the Cancer Care Fund, Family Birth Center Fund, Heart Care Fund, Hospice Programs Fund and Hyland Community Fund; the United Way; and the medical center’s Employee Crisis Fund.
