Are you already off the wagon when it comes to a New Year’s resolution to get healthy and fit? Look forward, not back, and jump into a healthier routine! Join the members of St. Anthony’s Internet-based Get Fit program today. You can create your own personal wellness goals at any time and get regular health tips from St. Anthony’s doctors and dietitians.

Imperial resident Stephanie Clark joined Get Fit last fall to start training for April’s GO! Half-Marathon. She says she’s had a lifelong battle with being overweight, but now, she’s on the road to a healthier lifestyle. “I started walking and then running and kick boxing with friends as well as eating healthier about a year ago, and I've lost 82 pounds since 2010,” she says.

“I joined Get Fit to track my progress while training for the marathon.” Clark, who also quit smoking in 2012, says working out with friends or with her dogs is a great way to keep motivated, but her son is her biggest cheerleader. “He’s 11 years old and plays hockey, so he’s very fit,” she says.

“The other day he told me he used all of his birthday wishes each year for me to quit smoking and be healthier and now that I am, he says some wishes do come true!”
