A healthy lifestyle means a change in mindset. From the speed at which you consume to the portion size you choose, mindful eating requires a different way of thinking.

How fast do you eat? Several studies show that the faster you eat, the more you eat, as your body doesn't have enough time to realize it’s full. Sitting down to enjoy meals and taking the time to chew can lower your total caloric intake.

How much do you eat? Sticking to smaller portion sizes can greatly reduce the risk of overeating. “Everything in moderation” is a great rule to follow.
