Physical therapy

At St. Anthony's, physical therapists aim to improve a patient's quality of life by regaining flexibility, strength and mobility, and decreasing pain. A comprehensive evaluation will be performed and an individualized treatment plan developed in order to restore the patient to a maximal level of physical functioning.

Why choose St. Anthony's

At St. Anthony’s, all outpatient therapists have between 7 to 30+ years of experience. This long-standing expertise aids our therapists in developing individualized treatment plans, keeping the patient’s and physician’s goals in mind. We take pride in providing one-on-one patient care during each therapy visit. This allows us to build a special rapport with patients and give them the attention they deserve. Two of our therapists have advanced certifications in the McKenzie Method of treating the spine. McKenzie is a mechanical diagnosis and therapy method in the treatment of spine and joint pathologies. As a result of St. Anthony’s being a level one stroke center, our therapists also have experience with treating neurological conditions. We offer a multidisciplinary approach including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy.
