Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapy focuses on helping each patient achieve the maximum level of independence and function in activities of daily living. These areas can include
  • self-care skills
  • dressing
  • personal hygiene
  • homemaking skills (e.g. meal preparation, housework, etc)
  • work-related skills
The occupational therapist may also work with patients on sensory/motor components and cognitive integration.
