Urgent Care Centers
Practice Details:
- Offers a fast-paced, rapidly growing Urgent Care environment, with a strong commitment to quality, compassionate, timely and convenient care for patients.
- Operates three off-campus Urgent Care Centers (Fenton, Arnold and Lemay) with 32 total exam rooms and x-ray and lab capabilities. A brand new, fourth location will be opening in summer 2008 in the Kirkwood/Crestwood area.
- Serves a total of 80,000 patients annually with urgent medical care, Occupational Medicine/Worker’s Comp injury care, physical exams (sports, school, work) and outpatient testing (lab tests, phlebotomy, x-rays, drug screens).
- Has well-trained, service oriented staff: RNs (ACLS, PALS and many with years of Emergency Room/Urgent Care experience), Urgent Care Technicians and Radiology Technicians.
- Employs 20 full-time, part-time and per diem physicians.

- Full time physicians are expected to work at least 36 hours per week (3 or 4, 8- to 12-hour shifts).
Candidate Requirements:
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine-Pediatrics or Family Medicine.
- ACLS and PALS Certifications.
