Gastroenterology

Practice Details:

St. Anthony’s Physician Organization:

  • Is comprised of board certified and board eligible physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants. The physicians represent a network of high-quality, highly accessible primary care and specialist physician offices, conveniently located in South County and affiliated with St. Anthony's Medical Center.
  • The physicians are dedicated to excellence and innovation in patient care. Eight of our offices are designated “Quality Partners” by Primaris, the federally designated Medicare Quality Improvement Organization for Missouri.
  • These practices are among the early adopters of electronic health records. The systems are widely touted for their ability to streamline office visits and to keep important patient information at your fingertips.

Endoscopy Center:

  • Offers a comprehensive range of diagnostic procedures and treatments for inpatients and outpatients with gastrointestinal (GI) diseases. This full-service center has state-of-the-art equipment, including an electronic patient filing system that your physician can access easily.
  • Services include: 24-hour pH Monitoring, Esophageal Manometry, Ano-rectal Manometry, Video Capsule Endoscopy, Stent Placement, Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy (PEG) Placement, and Small Bowel Enteroscopy.
  • Our team of experts, uses the latest technology and advanced medicine to deliver extraordinary patient care. When surgery is required, St. Anthony's provides highly specialized surgeons with expertise in laparoscopic, liver, biliary, pancreatic, and colorectal surgery.
  • Our nursing staff is highly trained with a total of 250 years of endoscopy experience. Our staff members are CPR and ACLS certified. Several nurses are certified in gastroenterology through the Society of Gastroenterology Nurses & Associates and the Certifying Board of Gastroenterology Nurses & Associates.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Gastroenterology.
  • Special consideration will be given to candidates with training/experience in endoscopic ultrasound.
