Physician Access
Electronic Medical Record
As St. Anthony’s transitions to an electronic medical record, the access to patient information will change. The current Physician Portal will become a resource for historical data and the Epic clinical data repository (CDR) will become the source for patient information.
The timeline for this change is:
- March 1, 2010 - Patient information no longer populates to Portal
- After March 1, 2010 - Portal will be limited to information obtained prior to 2/28/2010, Epic will be the source for patient data obtained after 1/1/2010
EPIC Education
E-Learning Requirement
Epic e-learning needs to be completed by January 15th. Physicians will be required to complete the Epic Physician e-learning module to gain access to the EMR. This e-learning is accessible any time.
- Launch the e-learning module 1. This is interactive and walks you through the use of the EMR
- Launch the e-learning module 2.
- At the end of the e-learning, click on the Survey Monkey link and complete the competency exam. Be sure to include your name so that access can be given and you can receive your 1 CME.
- Complete test and submit. A score of 85% is required (test can be repeated if needed)
- In order to be proficient and access the EMR, the 2 modules as well as the competency/eval will need to be completed.
Information regarding these changes and requirements will be available in the physicians’ lounge. For questions or clarifications, please call 314-525-4109 or 314-525-1441.

Downloadable Tests & Procedure Forms
For your convenience, St. Anthony's Medical Center is providing downloadable PDF-formatted versions of the most common test and procedure referral forms. Physician office staff can print out the forms to use with patients.
Please download an “original” for each patient to preserve the integrity of the bar codes.
Stay tuned as we keep adding forms!
