Projects
In 1962, a small group of dedicated women formed the Auxiliary and began raising funds for the Medical Center. Since then, the Auxiliary has contributed more than $8 million to St. Anthony's Medical Center. Some of these funds have been used to purchase two mobile mammography units, equip the Imaging Center at the Medical Plaza and build a state-of-the-art critical care unit. The group has raised $1.5 million for the Emergency Department renovation.
Through the Auxiliary's most recent efforts, the group has renovated and assumed responsibility for the operation of Heffernan House, a hospitality house for patients' families.
